Land Goddess

ΓΗ ΘΕΑ

Της θεότητας ο ήλιος εχύθη

πλασμένη από Αθανάτων χέρι

γη πλατιά

πρωτοξύπνητο πουλί στο

μέγα φως

Του Ουρανού

στα μάτια που ακολουθούν

την καλοσύνη της καρδιάς

λησμονημένη σε μια άσβηστη

μέρα που χύθηκε στα σπλάχνα της γης

σαν ευωδιά

Δίπλα από την ρίζα

ξαπλώνουν τα χαμολούλουδα

ταπεινά κοιμούνται στον

δρόμο που φεύγει το ποτάμι

Ειρήνη  πλημμυρισμένα

***

Στο πάτημα ανθρώπων

χώμα δεν μένει

Ο ίσκιος την αρμονία χαράζει

λυγίζει το χορτάρι

στον  ήλιο να γυρίσω

σαν δάκρυ οξιάς

σαν πάγος σαν χιόνι

μιας Θεάς να ντυθώ

την φωτιά

Deity of the sun poured 
Immortal molded by hand 
earth wide 
 the first bird in the dawn 
great light 
The sky 
eyes that follow 
goodness of the heart 
forgotten in an unforgettable 
Day spilled in the bowels of the earth 
like smell

Next to the root 
lying on the flowers of the soil 
humbly to sleep 
road leaves the river 
Peace flooded 
*** 
In the human touch 
soil is left 
The shadow outlines the harmony 
bent grass 
sun to return 
teardrop beech 
like ice as snow 
a goddess dress 
fire
