Άγνωστα πρόσωπα μας
κοιτούν από του σπιτιού

την πόρτα ανοιχτή
Τα ρούχα μας ριγμένα

Falmë Nënë

Si hënë e Vetmuar
larg teje gjendur
dhe ti, këngëzemre
dhe ti, degë çelur, endur
dhe ti, fjalëpathënë, o nënë!
Çaste buruar
kujtimesh të kohës
ritakohen, nën hënë
ujëra kristal si
dy sytë e tu, të mëdha, o nënë.
Mjelmës së Apolonit
të fsheh nëpër rite
agon… dhe të fsheh
mes mantelësh drite
Por buzëve më rilind
emri yt, pathënë
vazhdimisht, o nënë.
Si zogu humbuar
morisë, që vet
fluturon, papushuar
pa shoqëri,
dit edhe nat,
në kopshtnajën e
ëndrës heshtuar,
rikthehem, o nënë.
Dhe kur kopshnaja aromëzon
trëndafilat pranveror
teshave i qëndis
pres lulet e kuqa
në kandil të Shën Marisë
i ofroj dhe kërkoj
Falje
Falje…
se të pika, o nënë!

Fat

Fati do të na presë
gjithmonë…
edhe kur shpirtrat
shtegëtojnë
asaj Pranvere
të patrup,
të pa Atdhe,
mes ikjesh
çliruar, mataruar
nga mërgimet, mes
filizash të rinj
luleshege dhe të luluarat
degë
me flakë, që dorë nuk i prek
bukurisë
do të përkulen habitshëm
në të ngyrave festë,
në aroma kokrrash arrirë
do të dehen
pritshëm.

ABOUT THIS BOOK
This book is the first volume in ARDUS Publications’ new anthology dedicated to all matters related to humanity: Love, equality, peace, brother\sisterhood, human rights, freedom of speech and action, freedom of sexual and gender expression, desires, tolerance, and mere artistic expression. Opposition to negative characteristics found in humanity, (such as hate, war, oppression, etc.) are also relevant and acceptable topics. We hope you enjoy this new and, what we desire to be, ever continuing anthology dedicated to humanity. Gina and I (John), as well as all of the authors contained within, are doing it for you.
Page | vi
DEDICATION
On behalf of all the authors contained within, this book is dedicated to all of humanity. May we all soon learn to live in peace, love each other and realize that ALL LIVES MATTER. Despite one’s gender, colour, religion, sexuality, wealth, profession, height, weight and so on. We are one large and beautiful family and we need each other in all our variations.

SING ME A MELODY
Paint me a picture of people together
Living in true harmony
No classes, no races
No restricted places
Please paint that picture for me
Sing me a melody
The world’s at peace
Sing me a melody
No more wars
Sing me a melody
We’re working together
Please sing that song for me
Paint me a picture of children laughing
And nobody living in fear
No cheating, no stealing
No torture, no killing
Please paint that picture right here
Sing me a melody
The children are safe
Sing me a melody
No more hate
Sing me a melody
We’re all really trying
Please sing that song for me
Page | 3
Carve me a statue of eternal love
That everyone may come to see
May their hearts fill with joy
Each girl and boy
Please carve that statue for me
Sing me a melody
Nobody’s hungry
Sing me a melody
No more greed
Sing me a melody
We’re all sharing
Please sing that song for me
Please sing that song
Everyone sing along
Please sing that song for me
Please sing that song for we

COME TOGETHER
Come together
And see the light
Come together
To defeat the night
Come together
And know the true
Come together
To bid lies adieu
Come together
And let us grow strong
Come together
We will right the wrong
Come together
Let us be as one
Come together
Let division be done
Come together
Accept my embrace
Come together
We are one race

SILENCE
Silence is submission
Silence is agreement
Silence is permission
Silence is enslavement
Silence is weakness
Silence is denial
Silence is largesse
Silence is vile
Speak your mind and speak it well
Where the truth is what you tell
Speak of what you know and see
Speak the truth to all that be
Speak the truth and never fear
Speak the truth everywhere
Speak the truth and this truth know
The truth persists, lies come and go

FREE SPEECH IS A RIGHT
Free speech is a right
But it is far more than that
It is a duty
Be prepared to fight
Put oppression to the mat
Where oppression see
Free speech is at risk
If you're afraid to use it
Soon it will be lost
Defense must be brisk
If ever a moment quit
Freedom be the cost
Free speech inspires all
Literature, science, art
'Tis creation's light
Answer now the call
From our duty not depart
'Tis a noble fight

TREAT IT WELL
Please, don´t put dirt and stain,
To punish you, I won´t restrain
So be fair, and heals remain
It is my aim to love and care
To risk it all, I would dare
For the betterment, of all my dear
Our Motherland, where we stand
As we would love too, our Fatherland
Our blood is red that runs in every gland
So be careful, don´t try to cheat
As long as my pulse is in beat by beats
I will watch your steps, don´t mistreats.

IN EVERY STEP
In every steps we take and make,
There´ll be always a mistake
When we stumble and fall, awakes
In every steps we takes and makes
There are always the anticipations
Between our missions and decisions
In every steps we takes and makes
This two will always be our lifetime companion.
That gives us values in every idea and opinion
In every steps we take and makes
It would form and turn us strong and clever,
All the experiences teach us, whatever!!
In every steps we take and makes
Will create us for who we are
That will remain and go so far
In every steps we take and makes
It is our goal, creativity, and our own life´s story
That leaves imprints in heart that remains in memory.

LET LOVE RESPONSE
You are the "I"
The confidence to my answer
The vision between the journey
Of rich or poor
For the great or small
And the challenge, that rings
To speak out the passion
For peace and reconciliation
From the tyranny of circumstances
To obliterate the hunger and the thirst
From those legacy
Of over deceiving and lies
From abusing the ignorance in sanity
Of robbing of land´s dignity
But here is our destiny
To love and to hate
Why we don´t all embrace?
Let us be one
To borne a better future
Let us mingle into the soil
And respond the feelings
Of the Mother Earth
With all our love and care
And she will respond too
With all her heart to all of us
Because, "She is You"

SLEEP INSIDE MY SOUL
Please, sleep inside my soul
Feel the vibrations of my weeping
That´s why I beg you my life, for all
For now, I am crying for blood like you
Please make a choice
Either slept within me
And feel my everlasting love for you
Or help me to live for you
For the young generations,
For your dear family and friends,
It lies in your hands
You have the choice
If you allow me to live or die
But feel me within your heart and soul
Because you and I are one
My body and soul are yours
As your body came from me
If you let me live, you would live too
If you let me die, you would die too
Because I am your mother
The mother of all natures on earth
Your Mother Earth I am
Your everlasting existence!

ONE WORLD
If the world would live as one
Just think of what a paradise
It could be
No more famine - no greed
One world without need
One world pulling together
To weather any storm
No need to fear your neighbours
No matter what colour
They may be
One world in harmony
No need for terrorist attacks
On innocent women and children
No need for a revolution
In the name of religion
One world without sin
Imagine....
Is it only a dream to have the things
I have mentioned
One world where men and women
Live in peace and harmony
If so then I pray God forgives us
For our foolishness and ignorance
After all - we’re only human

IMAGINE
Imagine living life
Free from fear
No more endless nights
Filled with sleepless tears
And empty dreams
Imagine no longer
Passing judgment
Onto your fellow man
Or fellow woman
No matter their beliefs
Free of contempt
Imagine no longer
Searching for someone
To shoulder your blame
Time to take responsibility
For your own pain
Give yourself unto faith
And trust your imagination
For within it lies the path to peace
And the ways of salvation

WAR CHILD
Through no fault of your own
You were thrown into this war torn zone
Which is all you’ve ever know
From the moment you were born
A child of war
The light in your eyes died
Before it had a chance to shine
You heart knows only darkness
The absence of love
And streets stained with blood
Which block out the sun
Who are these men
Who sin against our children
And kidnap our women
Have they no soul
Or is this the only life
They have ever known
Since they were children of war
Still there’s hope the cycle
Will be broken with a show of love
From those of us
Who have always had the luxury
Of peace and prosperity
Page | 17
Through our prayers and humanity
We will strive to shed enough light
In the eyes of children
So they may become women and men
Who will pass on to their children
Peace love and serenity

COLOUR
We are all the same, black, white or brown.
Do not judge, do not frown
Over someone that is different from you,
Because you don’t know what to do!
We are all the same under our covers.
Love each other, for we are all brothers.
United, despite how we look.
Take time to stop and open the book.
Find out what’s inside,
The secrets they have chosen to hide.
Discover their souls, who they really are,
Accept our differences and you will go far.

DEAF MAN
One day, the world bombarded you with sound.
People shouting, babies crying, traffic zooming.
Then silence. Nothing.
Almost as if it all became too much.
Time to opt out.
The solitude of silence.
You travel to the ends of the earth
As if wrapped in cotton wool.
You feel safe. Protected. Loved.
In your self-imposed bubble of protection.
Your illness is a mystery to all.
Except you.
Your mind had had enough of life’s hustle and bustle
So your body shut down.
Mind over matter. Eternal peace.
Bliss!

COBWEB IN AUTUMN
The spider’s web, what a clever design of nature.
So beautiful and delicate, yet so cruel and deadly.
The spider spins its web, it gets bigger and bigger,
Stretching out further and further in all directions.
Trapped, tempting treasures await the predator’s return.
The World Wide Web, what a clever design of man.
So intricate and amazing, it can be a Godsend.
Previously strangers, new friends chat.
Different areas, different countries,
Distance makes no difference.
Yet, to the few this new type of web,
Is a tool for evil and destruction.
These people spin their webs,
Stretching out further and further in all directions.
Inflicting pain and conflict on the innocent.
Some people are happy and thrive,
Their life and circle of friends expands,
Whilst others wither and cannot survive.
This new, man-made web of life
Is really no different from the spider’s web!

CARING
The carer is a giver and performs daily acts of human kindness,
Unselfishly putting others first.
It is trying at times, but rewarding at others.
To give and give and not get back can be so draining,
But those small break through moments make the job worthwhile
And is the greatest gift of them all.
The patient has to accept his helpless position,
Independence now lost and probably never found again.
He is physically unable to move as he used to and
Walking, the housework and the washing becomes a struggle.
So frustrating!
The mind is screaming out in anger, but the body doesn’t respond.
It won’t respond!
Or, perhaps, he can do everything he could before
And there is nothing wrong.
Or, so he thinks!
Just the odd slip of the mind…
Sometimes he finds himself in unexpected places,
Like the middle of the road in his dressing gown…
How on earth did that happen?
Names don’t come to him as easily as they did
And just seem to slip his mind.
The carer finds his job challenging and the suffering
Of the poor person deeply upsets him.
Once, the old man was young, and strong, with a healthy mind.
The way the mind and body can fail you can be so saddening.
It is a tragedy of the human body and one the carer fails to accept.
He feels that by now humans should not suffer in this manner.
How humiliating! How debilitating!
Surely something could be done by our scientists?
Page | 23
He prays to God that these patients find some strength, happiness, inner peace.
Some patients have accepted and adapted to their limitations
And have changed their lifestyles accordingly, while the others struggle daily.
And the rest, simply do not know!

THE UNIVERSE
Lord, how beautifully this universe thou created!
Thou made everything unique in itself,
What to say of the sky kissing mountains!
Their beauty enchants onlookers’ eyes.
Rivers, brooks, woods and deserts thou created
Bestowed them with the beauty of different kind,
Each sooths our tired brain and eyes;
With its charming beauty of balmy effect.
Innumerable birds, insects and animals thou created,
Provided each with the beauty of its own,
To illuminate all your beautiful creations;
Thou made the sun, the moon and twinkling stars.
To enjoy and praise these unique creations,
Thou made a new kind of species: man-woman;
To value and establish a close bond among all creations,
Gave them alone; the beautiful variety of brain.
But alas! My Lord, instead of doing what thou expect,
We human being indulged only in that thou never accept.

OUR GREAT CULTURE!
I belong to the great culture,
You belong to the poor,
I sophisticated, you uncouth;
I’m intellectual, you illiterate.
This is the complex widely found,
Among the rich, among the poor;
Among the cultured, among the uncouth,
Among the literate, among the illiterate.
So for as superiority complex is concerned,
None is exception, whether the rich or the poor;
Whether the cultured or the uncouth,
Whether the intellectual or the illiterate.
The whole creation of the God almighty;
The mountain, the river, the trees and flowers,
Smiling at this nature of ours
Ah, we are so fool, so proud…
So possessed of our own intellect
That we instead of peeping into us,
Pleasing with our own laugh.
Many true scholars born and died,
But couldn’t illumine the intellect infected;
So pray You God to illumine us,
But, the intellect of the intellectual first.

CRITICS! CRITICISM!
Mere negative criticism
Shows the narrow mentality of a critic
Who considers himself superior
Feels jealous with the progress of others.
Though we all are born critic in our own way
Yet mainly the critics are of two varieties
One is branded and other is unbranded.
The unbranded criticisms are of negative
Due to lack of deep understanding
So their criticism should be ignored and attempt praised.
The branded criticisms is also negative
Not, due to lack of deep understanding
But due to excess, of deep-rooted jealousy.
Often the branded occupy the branded post,
That embellishes their shallow criticism most

THE MISSILE MAN NO MORE!
A great irrecoverable loss!
Nothing can be done against,
Except to pray the God almighty
For the peace of his departed soul.
Tears! Have patience and control
Let his soul rest in peace and forget the past
Until it was self-imprisoned, in this mortal body;
Never rested, even in his resting hours.
Such a great loss can have no substitute,
We mortals are helpless before immortal,
When the soul has to leave us, none can stop;
Yet name can be made before immortal gone.
Country, weep no more at this physical decay
For immortal soul made his appearance immortal
Before the Death can thrust, and turn him into dust.

GENTLE VISTA, HARSH REALITY
Gentle vista
Harsh reality
Beautiful creature
Subject to
Ecological travesty
Innocent beast
Family dependant
Meagre hunting
Rummaging bins
Damage irreparable
Can't be undone
Starvation migration
Habitat gone
So much depends
On the balance
Nature holds
So much destroyed
As man
Coverts his golds
Oh what will become
Of our marvelous beast
Innocent bystander
In man's hungry feast
Move south for food
Its very nature challenged
How can they survive
So little left
Undamaged

I WISH I HAD WINGS
Oh I wish I had wings
I fly high, but wouldn't look down
Angels manage it
Hence celestial crown
Yes flight is a gift
Raises one above another
But doesn't displace mother, or brother
I'd still look all as peers in my eyes
My wish I say, selfishly,
I wanna fly
So far I've achieve a small part of this
Boeing and Airbus satisfied modernites wish
But oh that's not quite
What I'm asking for
I wanna fly to the moon
And to heaven’s door
Or just around my estate, or across local fields
Feel the wind 'neath my wings
As gravity yields
To fly with the doves
To ward of the hawks
To soar with the swallows
Sit as finch on wheat’s thin stalks
I'd fly in summersault
In autumnal formation
I'd see from above
Nature's beautiful creation
And in the morning whilst I'm making my coffee
I'd sit on a bough, dawn chorus and me

WHEN THE NORTH WIND DOTH BLOW
Gentle the breeze
Boughs moving in time
There's a melody.
A dance on the air
See them move
Classic in their pose
In unison, together
As gentle breeze blows
See them bend
Those fields of corn
Watch closely now
See tidal winds born
Swaying in time
Waves on the wind
Once passed, once past
Their bend rescind
Now here it comes
All bow to its power
When the north shows anger
Fear all ye men, all that tower
It's been awakened by our gods
Sent forth as punishment of crime
It's been this way, for eternity
Retribution to mankind
Harsh it blows
Of pity, it has none
Compassion, empathy
Mercy, ALL gone
Page | 33
Trees bend and break
Grasses laid low
Devastation, destruction
When the north wind doth blow
Snow comes forth
North winds ally
Lands in lethal splendour
Just how many die!
The world stops
Looks for romance in the wind
Kids play, logs burn
Ignorant of sins
Riven, the landscape
Picturesque paradoxical scene
Flora and fauna exposed to wrath
Bare existence secured, days lean
Consistent, persistent,
Relentless it toils
North wind doth blow
Devastation it's spoils

OF DEAD POETS
If I stood on only one mountain peak
On one short moment of my life
Or momentarily lay in the arms of a love, who now is my wife
If looked just but once at my babes in their cot
Or wondered of peace, oh god why not
If I had only a hint of celestial beauty
Would I still write my words
My poetry
What will be my verse
My captain my captain asked
To live life, to honour life, not much a task
I'll live in rhyme, and in prose
Each blessed day
I'd consider a rose
The hurt and the loss
I'd take in my stride
Tears, and laughter
Will displace the dross
It may contain words I don't understand
But my captain my captain
I live poetry
At life's command

RAINBOW AT NIGHT
Our leaders are pious orators of words
In every five years attentively
Circulate to our blood so many dreams.
Stratagem of past contrived, provisions
For kitchen, clothes, shelters for years
Poor to hide their breasts, petticoats
For girls, a cut in the price, promises
All around us in loud voices in speeches
Ideals, -isms, ethics, morality, religions
Run like flame in the rain on platforms.
Earthquakes, flood, farmers’ suicides
Flinging out in unbeaten logic, glimpses
Of Indian history, love and non-violence
Reflect everything like wall mirrors
Unconscious of what they say,
People are unconscious what they listen.
They are lined up in streets in the morn
To be sold for a day to contractors,
They sleep under tamarind trees
Dream of sweet homes in empty belly.
The watchmen and the fence eat the crops
Their art in subtle ways like fake seers
Casting a rainbow at night for fools to watch
Cheating oneself is rarest of the rare
Reasoning lies for others all alike
Strange adulterers of mother’s milk.

THE FROST
A pair of reverberating black eyes
Curls in the perfume of flowers
Moves in the street of dead moths
Under yellow light,
The moon-kissed apple cheeks adorns her
Moves uncertainly in a dust-lit town
Of luminous mist
The wounded eyes of poverty
And disgrace barters a call.
The hilly twilight home
Preserves a withering solitude,
A simple thought flickered
On the candid brow
The burning sobs of heart waits
The gasping breath of evil angels
Under a deeper dark sky.
Strange fanfare of the hunter’s misdeeds
Explodes her soul
Exotic summer fruits on her chaste
Mysteriously erotic,
The sick nightingale of an ailing spring
Thirst for a song
The yelping dog pushes
In the impassive river
After the stinking fish.
The green night mingles
In hysterical groans
Of bursting mouth
Where serpents crawl into the blood
With vapor of poison,
The feet are locked till cool breeze dampens
Page | 38
The wind softens the shackles
Sprouting wings at back.
A fading light is flickered
In the gloomy streets of emptiness
The dark eyes again sparkle
At a point of gloom of a fallen race.

THE VALLEY
The valley no more wonders the eyes
Strayed onto a space of dismal solitude,
The brook in multitude sobs flows sickly
The blood glows in darker games of progress
It precipitates horror exiguously everywhere.
A deceitful change in crafty twists of our mind
Brutes lurk as phantoms of death at night
The passionate hunters on grassy land arrive
Churning blood on the shadowy flowers
The doe dies in each other’s embrace
I commune with death standing in silence.
Who rules the night as Lords of darkness?
A prospect counterfeiting our rise
Tough goals maneuvered dumping hills
Cut down the snaking trees gazing at sky,
Blowing the heart of hills for minerals
Flowers are scattered for me to gather and cry.
The valley screams like an old woman scolding
Left bare, lonely by her own children,
Fitting axioms of love on lips muffled in lies
Blind and misaligned for goals for gold,
It is time to remember the valley in spring
Whose bosom of blossoms once delighted eyes!

PROGRESS
Wreathes of smoke in the light
Ascend to gloomy sky like a cloud
Concerns dreams of people recoiled
Like snakes on the factory floors
In noise of a tumultuous sea in ears
Eyes closed for sleep dark and dense
Like soldiers tired in the battlefields.
The future like death oblivious at present
The homes are sunless and swampy
Children starve for food in the mornings
Vainly seek a slate and chalk to read
Never seen school latched and lonely.
The siren speaks of a dying afternoon
Little rice and water in rimless bowls
Looms in the mind like ice of winter
Chills the tired feet in the next call.
The evening is belated of joy in strife
A hideous routine in their hearts,
Whither in breathe slackening for sleep
I have heard they don’t dream
But progress comes from their blood.

END OF HISTORY
History
Not for past
But for future
His story
Means
He wrote a story
Or someone
Wrote about him
Whatever it is
It is a story
Really what is
History ?
Is it ruins of past
Or light house to future
Humanism
And cruelty
Both are signature
Of history and culture
About me
I am belongs to future
But still lives in past
I have no present
Have only tears of history
Dreams of future
But
Present is my culture
What I don't know
And not to try to learn
History belongs to humanity
Humanity belongs to hearts
Page | 43
Heart
That belongs to the garden
Of human civilization
Like a flower.
Remember
The springs never
Run away if you pluck
A flower from garden
The plant will ignore
And bring out new buds
Yes
You cannot spoil truths
From the kindness of love
And
The mercy of nature

MERCY KILLER
Earth going to admitted
In a super specialty hospital
If you like come with me
To see her before she leave
Her eyes filled with tears
Of last breath
Her face hide behind
The wounds
Her body leaned
Without food and rest
What happened to her
We have been digging
On her body
And we are constructing
Building for our rest
And vomiting
Poison for our food
But someone has stolen
Her heart to sale
In black market
Another one got patent
On her Mercy
Now she fell in illness
Then doctor
Asked to go admit

A FREE COUNTRY
You may not like this but it is true
In a Muslim country
A thief could lose a hand
But not in our land
In India they worship many gods
Here we have only One
Now what are the odds?
Be thankful we have justice with mercy
Be thankful we are free
In God we trust is not a 'must'
If 'free will' seems strange
Consider if we could not change
Would we believe in good -- or evil?
Just blowing in the wind?
Would we know if we had sinned?

WHEN WE ARE GOLDEN
The difference between black and white
Is the same as that of dark and light
But brotherhood ignores these extremes
People are so dumb it seems
None of us are absolutely right
Our skin causes us to fight
The majority believes they are right
The minority resents their might
How can brotherhood be attained?
Religion failed and is stained
Procreation takes too long
When will we learn right from wrong?
When we are golden

NO CHIT CHAT
I'm a serious poet
And that's my fault
If someone will listen
On and on I will talk
I wish I'd learn
To keep my mouth shut
And that my words
Do sometimes burn
I'm introspective
And think to save the world
But I know that never works
Each of us has our own perspective
The balance is needed
And God only knows
We need only listen and not to talk
And heed Gods' word to save our souls

POINTS OF POLITICS
Are there certain points we argue?
Even in our extremes
Things that we should strive for
Ways to make our country greater
Are they only dreams?
We always say the opposition
Doesn’t have a valid point
But look deeper and you will see
Some of them are similar
Then do they seem extreme?
Some uniting factor is there
A way to make things better
Disregard the greed and hate
Liberal or conservative
There are points alike, I think

CIVILIZATION'S TALE
Civilization emerged
glories inching sky.
Gigantic structures
Bridging land and oceans
Miles far and wide.
Human race
Every sunshine
Running faster its pace.
Emotions all dead
Stamped to last holy breath.
Humanity since decades
Breathed last.
Peace and solidarity
In pyre, alas!
Conquering heights
Yet thoughts; far from reach.
May 'One' religion
Humanity preach.
Unconquered love and;
Bundles of joy.
Forever human life
Cherish and enjoy.
No bloodshed, no war
All boundaries erode.
Can humans, any formula decode?
Ever a day, disparities submerge
Civilization re-emerged.
Humanity restored.

Oh! Days with fragrant
Flowers circled
The fruitfulness of love
The light that always shines in

DIFFERENCES DO NOT COME IN THE WAY OF LOVE
I am from Mars, she is from Venus,
Never was any occasion to wipe tears using Kleenex,
I am the South Pole and she is the North Pole,
But we are united by heart and soul,
I am an introvert and she is an extrovert,
But we don't throw at each other mud and dirt,
When I wear a smile, she wears a frown,
But in the sea of discontent, we don't drown
When I am at peace, she is at war,
But we never leave each other desolate and sour,
When I stand against, she stands for,
But every little thing she does, I do adore
When I need silence, she goes to talk,
But in the same direction, we do walk,
When I say “Let's go”, she says “Let's stay”,
But our love lasted and our hair turned grey.
When I want sandwich, she desires a full meal,
But there never was a big problem, we could not deal
When I am ready to start, she wants to quit,
But our relations always stayed intact and well knit.
When she needs protection, I am her guard and shield,
When I am sick and recovering, she stays there till I am healed,
When I slip in to depression, she lifts my spirits high,
When she wants any help, I am always on standby.
Page | 57
When I achieve something, she basks at my success,
When she expects me to be her side, I always say “Yes”
Differences do not come in the way of love, don't you all agree?
We both love each other and that point we both happily agree.

SLEEP INSIDE MY SOUL
Be my soft pillow where I can rest my head,
I just want to lie there closely holding you in the bed,
Rock me under the moon, murmuring love's rhymes,
Let me scribble a poem on your bare back in our bed time.
Come, sleep inside my soul listening to my heartbeat's melody,
Come share with me sweet dreams of tranquil ecstasy,
Till the moonlight disappeared in the starlit blue sky,
Till you wake up opening your deep ocean like eyes.
Come, sleep inside my soul, drugged by my soul stirring kiss,
Endless nights like this let us spend getting lost in love's bliss,
Let us break all barriers with our bodies and souls delightful union,
Close your eyes slowly and slip in to sleep inside my soul, oh, my life's companion.
My soul will never be far from you, always within your soul's reach,
In your days of darkness, my soul will be the light you will seek,
Sleep soundly inside my soul, and when you open your beautiful eyes,
I will be with you in your heart and soul to kiss your enchanting eyes.

WHAT IS LOVE?
What is love? the question that haunts one and all,
Be they king or beggar, love does them enthrall,
Love is many different and contradictory things,
It is that blissful divine feeling that takes wings.
Love is a force of nature, beyond the power of us to command,
Do surrender to its force, do not to make any demand,
Love is bigger than you are, you can't make it to happen,
It strikes like lightning, throw you off like a fire from a cannon.
It is a mysterious glue that binds two souls together
A foundation for two to live as one in fair or rough weather,
It makes you dumber and dumber as the days go by,
Can't focus attention on things, how hard you may try,
It even changes your heartbeat to match up with your beloved,
It make you believe your beloved can turn your world around,
Without strong commitment, it is only a mere infatuation,
Without passion, it can be at best described as some dedication
Love can be easily experienced, more difficult to be defined,
It may seem remote until you encounter its magnetic force that binds,
It is an untamed force, try to control that force, it will destroy you,
Try to imprison it, it will enslave you, try to understand it, it will confuse you,
Transmute love, ignore love, muddle love, but you can't pull out of it,
Love is an art, a promise of eternal passion, a fortunate accident, you can call it,
Love is an endless mystery, a wild adventure, a sweet torment, you name it
It is the hidden spring of life, celestial gold, a rarest gift, just hold on to it.

ONE LOVE ONE LIFE ONE WORLD
One life, one love and one world is the desire deep buried in our heart,
Together as one, but all we need is to make an honest and sincere start,
In our war torn world, hate, violence and terror pose threat to our existence,
Let's break the barriers, for peace and harmony is the solution to our subsistence.
We have the gift of life on earth but life is short and so quickly it is fleeting away,
With love in our heart, love in our talks, love in our deeds, let's make a pathway,
To heal the world and make it a better place, for you and for me, and the human race,
We get caught up in trying to fulfill our needs, but love is the only thing that fills empty space.
It is for us to create enough space in our heart for thoughts of love to land and to expand,
Let love overtake us, let love animate us, flowing from our heart in to our hugging hands,
Pure love streams in heaven, and more of that essence of love is streaming in to our lives,
Love fills us like light, love that is everlasting, eternal, the more you give it always thrives
Oh Lord, lead us towards one world, one universe with full of love and we will surely follow,
For hate wraps its cold hand around our heart and make it hard like stone, narrow and hollow,
Page | 61
Oh, God, be our shield, and we will be the weapon to fight all perversions of this beautiful world,
With you to lead, under your divine light, we will get enlightened to make the love unfurled
We all live in one world that cries the same tears, that search for the same dreams and hopes,
We all have one life, one heart, one soul, one vision, one essence, one notion and one scope,
Love sees no color, no race, no gender, no religion, for God made everything out of love,
With our one life, with the power of love, let our dreams fly, to make this world as peaceful as a dove.

FOUNDED GOD
Mom teaches to spread love
Dad teaches to struggle hard,
Teacher shows the path
Friend shows how to live;
God's present everywhere
He's with you everywhere,
Still if you don't trust
Just see the new born kid.
I am not an atheist
I believe what I feel,

UNTOLD TRUTH
You wake up early
Prepare my tiffin,
Come to wake up
In full anger;
You try to awake
But in vain,
I lie down lazily
But not asleep;
Then you hug me
And cuddle me,
Just for this mom
I don't wake up.
You cry aloud
Moan anxiously,
Absorb every pain
But don't give up;
Just for my kid
Just for my love,
Behind the doors
I cry hard;
But don't express
My pain dear,
I love you my wife
I may not say.
I come home early
Knock the doors,
You open it
And give a smile;
I take you in arms
And play with you,
It sheds all pain
Page | 65
Soothe all stress;
You get married
Time to leave now,
I hug you tight
As you cry aloud;
You sit in car
I weep a lot daughter,
From that day
I come home late.

MATCH IS ON!
Opposition is unknown
So theirs tactics
They seem ruthless
While striking our post
As we find no answers
To their attack
Too much aggression
Too much chaos
They leave us bruised
They leave us helpless
First half is over
It's done and dusted.
We all gather now
To find solution
Whether we fight
Or we shall retreat
Opposition sees us
With a wicked smile
Just then anger grew
Our fists closed
We feel rejuvenated
We feel hungry
No more defence
Only license to kill
First half has past
Next half is ours
Let's unite guys
Time for some goal fest
We will win
For ourselves
For our fans

ONENESS
We all live
We all breathe
Still we are divided
Divided by boundary
Divided by language
Divided by colour
Divided by ethnicity
If less that is
Nature divides us
How come a friend
Wish a birthday
One day before yours
How come its night
When somewhere it's day.
Too much differences
Too much complexities
But it's still allowable
Allowable is not
The differences in heart
The differences in mind
That hinders brotherhood
That creates fights.
Savour the spices
Experience the beauty
Grow with nature
Feel the luxury
Show some mercy
Forgive your neighbor
Love the diversity
Hate the haters

THE DEAD
They aren't in blind tinted caskets
But those wandering freely like air
Waiting to be laid to rest by victims
Deep beneath the souls of our feet
They aren't your bittered grief enemy
But those friendly enemies and betrayers
Stuck under your nose and neck and
Welcome you between devil and deep blue sea
They aren't accused's planted in dock
But those twisted tongue lawyers
That chameleon truth to facts and lies
Ravishing innocent hands behind bars
They aren't student with bad grades
But those teachers who rape off their values
And wear them a new score of emptied head
While their worth rust away for selfish interests
They aren't Unfaithful Christians in churches
But those pastors, ministers, reverends, apostles
Who are lust in world's material tidings
Winning wealth and selling Gospels of their brands
They aren't our dubious politicians
But those hungry citizens with blind futures
Selling their rights to their dogs for worthless change
And turn back to eat their chords in agony
The dead are those who live and die while in silence
Waiting patiently for their second and third deaths

HARMATTAN
My teeth are panting
My skin is fidgeting
My breath is ambushed
My eyes are rusted
In river Nile of tears
My life is gripped by fears
I'm just allergic to this weather
Without hard wears of leather.
Harmattan
She has been waving me
With hands that makes me ill
Icing my skin to scars
When really I want the stars,
But today's is genocides
Wearing off everyone by my sides
Patience! Patience!
Wait for the noon
Mothers have warned under moon,
Away, Harmattan soon will walk,
Away for her rainy brother's talks.

OH MY HEART
Look up the sky with smiles
Lie to yourself that you're fooled
Lie to yourself that you can't be loved
Lie to yourself that you're useless like sun
Lie to yourself that women are not friar.
Oh Poor Heart!
Lean on me, your dear lover
Lean on thy throb
Lean on the heavens
Lean on thy clemency
My heart, Weep no more
Love could be in thy head,
But not in thy head
Learn thy lesson to love imperfection than beauty
For beauty rust like iron
For manner grows like joy
The girl next building to your lover
And remember to trust none, even thy self.

NO NEW YEAR RESOLUTION AGAIN
Slim silence of hours ago
Tired life of 2016 shreds and
The year dies away hopefully
Shamefully with my plights and rights
And aborted infants of 2016 resolutions
Behind shutters of walking clock
New year peeps joyfully
In bulging pair of eyes
From a mask of happiness
I caught her smiles greeting
Luring me to make resolutions
"The new resolutions" I always murder
Abort and the rest die in silence
This year, she has been patting me
Trying to seduce me to make resolutions
Whereas my hands are stained by blood
Bloods of aborted and murdered resolutions
Their voices wail in my ears
Begging for a lost place to stay
But I bluntly turn them down and I cry
"No New Year resolution again"
If I make them, I will be compel to brake them

LOST HUMANITY
Where has humanity gone from the earth?
Wantonness prevails all over the world.
Who is responsible for this? Who gave birth to it?
Aren't they the very human beings?
Humanity dwells in ignorance after seeing.
They think they are free to do whatever they like.
But they don't realise sans humanity they can't survive.
Where has it departed?
Is it somewhere else?
Or still exist on this earth?
Does it still bear in disguise?
Can it come and surprise?
Though some people have humanity.
But what about the rest?
To attain the reason,
I become the part of this quest.

AILED HUMANITY
O! Humanity what ail thee
Why have you renounced the world?
O! Humanity what ail thee?
Inhumanity found the world.
O! Humanity what ail thee?
Why you getting absence from the earth?
O! Humanity what ail thee?
Inhumanity presents all over the world.
O! Humanity what ail thee?
Bowed yourself on your knees.
O! Humanity what ail thee?
Inhumanity wandering happy and free.
O! Humanity what ail thee?
Your face so pale sans glee.
O! Humanity what ail thee?
Inhumanity is blushing, feels so free.
I mark a sign of despondency on your face.
Let me study your case.
Who is responsible for your condition?
Inhumanity had done this.
To do so who gave it permission.
Insanity, separations. ,selfishness.
All are enjoying their dine.
Wait O! Brutals. all will be fine.
Our Movement for ‘PEACE AND UNITY’ is in the pipeline.
Soon humanity will flourish.
And you will be decline.
O! Magnanimity need not too afraid for a moment.
We shall overcome in this Movement.

FILL IN THE WORLD WITH LOVE AND PEACE
We are the creatures of the God on the Earth.
To follow his commands we got our birth.
Love and peace to fill in the world.
This is the motto of our birth.
Why people forget their duty?
Oneness is the wholesome beauty.
Bloodshed anarchy dancing on its feet,
World divided into caste and creed.
Domination, suppression man is not free.
Makes humanity to take its last breath,
O! Human beings
O! Dear souls
Let's play our greatest role.
Let's humanity shine in souls.
Shine in souls with love so pure.
So there is no place for any gore.
Let not humanity to die in dooms.
For human beings it is not so good.
To fill each heart with feeling of brotherhood.
Feeling of brotherhood is pure and good.
Unity is strength exists in man.
Let's walk together hand in hand.
When we walk together hand in hand,
Then we will make our peaceful land.

MOTHER EARTH
The mother earth
Bended with her loaded back
Leaving some dust of gold
In her dazzling eyes.
She flows all time endlessly.
Brings rhythm to man.
Makes them strongest,
And love them.
Nurture them with her patient hands,
Keeps healthy and wealthy.
The sun, the moon,
The clouds and the wind
Are the lovely creations
Of mother earth.
I feel so lucky and fulfilled
To touch this ethereal bliss.
I promise to hold you
In my embrace forever,
Do not allow me
To be separated from you.

I AM
I am the hues and fragrance.
I am the petals and flowers.
I am the branches and trees.
I am the sun and moon.
I am the clouds and rain.
I am the vast land and sky.
I am the desert and ocean.
I am the hills and rock.
I live in every tiny plant and animals.
I live in every lonely heart.
I live in every artist's mind.
I am the pain inside every soul.
I am the Lord!
I am the Creator!
Let me more time to create
A world of peace,
A world of faith,
A world full of joy,
A nation of brotherhood.
The oneness of all people.
Let me more time

SOLITUDE
In you my world dissolves.
Furtive hands seek in the dark
A distinction.
Nothing compares to solitude.
Shimmering in the faint light
Of an unknown zone
A little light offers no solace.
The sea has roared all day.
The words have roared all day.
The face has gone pale
Thinking what to take
And what to reject.
A poet said a few things
In many ways
Offering his songs
In praise of the unknown.
I took them like a plateful of teasers
Like attempting a
Competitive test
To clear my way beyond
The obvious
And the oblivious.
Many more voices have roared.
Many seas have been upturned.
Having explored the enigmas,
Do I believe it all?
When the seas are gone
And there’s no rain
Fear gathers like sunshine
Hurting my vision
Tempting me to close

PEACE
An aspect of life
That has eluded me so far,
A well taught belief
That has deceived me so far,
The habit of millions
That I have forsaken
Grips me now with fear.
In the most compelling moments
I respond with obedience
While in the waking hours
I question
If that were the thing
I was looking toward
Then why so much hush,
Why so much clamour?
All that has forgone
And all that is yet to be
And all that in-between,
The I and the you and the
Difference …
It’s as if I was never cut out to love
Anything beyond the palpable.
It’s as if I was never prepared to love
That which offers solace in darkness.

MANKIND
One cannot claim to be human
The true sense of word
Without having a generous heart
And real feelings
And to everyone
Without exception
Regardless of the color and origins
Us and the customs of each of us
One needs to be convinced and tell
The bottle is half full as the bottle is half empty
To have a funny feeling with some people
Around us and that we cross
Having a sensitive perception
Fragile souls and that do not call for help
We have to listen to people in difficulties
Being tolerant, understanding having compassion for his fellow people
And a lot of patience is a virtue
Respect secrets must be kept to the grave
Somme limits need to not to cross
And stay out without too involvement
Appropriate
Integrate and interfere in people’s lives
Risk that takes you down with them

THE SAFE BET
“Mankind”
It is a human feeling
Not innate but acquired
Values that are inculcated us
It is the peace of mind
It's a feeling of serenity
Either way it was or was not
But often some represses
As a bad adventure
We want to forget
This is the compassion for others
A noble sentiment
That emanates from the heart
Without thinking
We act, we react then we think
This is tolerance accept people as they are
Respect their choices and take their views into account
Without asking any questions
It is to live in harmony with others
And with Mother Nature
You can reach nirvana
If you simply love and fresh water
You will live the Eternal Happiness
Being friendly to listen without interrupting
People in distress or in need
Those or those around you who want to confess
Who seek by all means an ear?
To share their burden
Therefore suffering is bearable
Because she's share
Go rather to the quiet that one crying sentence
Page | 90
You have to know and feel sense the distress people
Waiting and hoping for a solution to their queries
Give suggestions rather than advice
To all this must be convinced
His choices and lifestyle
Being in harmony with oneself
Armored and armed enough to endure the worst sufferings of this life
And be able to look in a mirror
Without regretting
Being humble and endowed with these qualities to feel its congeners
Always look at those below you
And cannot see just the tip of his nose...!

THE HUMANOID
What’s bred in the bone?
Comes out in the flesh
Men this are fragile creatures
Thinking they are Goliath since inventing gunpowder
As an invincible and indestructible Cyclops
This creature of God
As one of the talented beasts dotted with intelligence
Possessing an IQ exceeding all creatures
And beasts are populating this world
Which is none other than paradise on earth?
Human being often forgetting that they depend on water and fire
Descendant of a clay father
Fragile as a jolt or manifestation
That Weather can wreck
Or a single-celled animal can destroy
But disagreeably
The man self-destructs
I do not know if it's ignorance or negligence
And it is heartbreaking to see
It is not as intelligent as other beasts
Transforming into
The beast who was dozing in him in perfect symbiosis
Woke up devouring everything that passes through his hands
Not making no differences
Among its congeners by greed and easy money
While trampling and driving manners
And the teachings of the holy books

A LETTER FROM A HUMAN TO HUMAN
Misery and broken homes,
Perished family,
Terror, new friend,
Eyes look for smiles and,
For once, not blood.
Dilapidated mausoleums,
Scratched and torn faces,
No books to read, no meals to feed,
Slaughter of babies and hopeful future,
Loss of humanity,
No solid foundation of love and harmony.
When eyes meet, no merriness prevails,
Only bombs and gun powder
Smear the heavy chests,
That were weighed down by dreams of dawn,
But were left crimson
During dusk of unfortunate hatred.
United prayers for the summer, full of stories of play and day,
Not about ordeals of chase and hiding in the bay.
There's no smile or consolation prize,
No appreciation or any merit.
What kind of thirst does this blood quench?
Can you put a halt?
Please?
Page | 95
Can you console the crying baby?
Can you pick up the old frail lady?
Can you aid the handicap?
Can you or have you done it ever already?
Do you remember it?
Did you feel your inner demon fade?
Did you feel like family?
Did you feel like being at home?
Did your heart experience a melt?
Did you feel good?
Has your gun ever felt heavy to you?
Has a bullet ever brought regret?
Have you spent time introspecting,
Questioning the real cause of this massive massacre?
End this bloodshed, end this destruction.
This extermination will never fetch true joy,
For never has and never will,
Tears bring an invariably delightful smile.

HEALING
Congested four walls,
All blue and grey,
Wintery shades of
Monotony and clear confusion.
Doors closed, lips sealed,
People distanced, memories
Haunting, and love hurting.
Drowning and drowning,
Deep into the ocean of
Eternal darkness. Blind
To beauty and all displayed
Smiles were borrowed.
Inaudible were the sounds,
That could catch me and pull
Me out of the deep water.
I was nearly lost.
On a directionless road,
I kept on walking and walking
Until I saw a glimpse of a true smile.
A laugh, sheer and plainly
Fascinating, which kept me
Wondering for a while if it was
Really true and alive
or just a hallucination?
I came closer to you,
And observed my scars healing,
Those pinned photographs
Of pitiful times of my lifeless life,
you hastily removed from my mind
And took me to a seemingly new place,
Page | 97
Helping me capture and cherish what I
Had lost.
You asked me to click
A photograph of the thing that
Made me most delightful and…
I clicked a picture of you.

DAYS THAT WENT BY
The seductive feel
Of being in love,
The captivating touch,
Gold like time of adventure and fun,
The new presence of serenity
In the life blue and black,
The filling of mesmerising ecstatic moments in life,
And love in the rough deep cracks
Of the broken blue heart.
The magical times of no regrets,
The long nights of yet longer talks,
Telling each other the stories of past,
And weaving future with one another
Or just bringing back the memories
Of the days that went by
Just smiling
And writing diaries
With words dancing
On the sheer white paper
Like waves of the tempest storm.

DREAMS
Take me in your heart while you fly,
Let the world watch while we pass by,
Let me be the wings of your passion,
Let me be the reason in your devotion.
Let us forget the moments of life in solicit of grieve,
Let us bid the sorrow adieu, it’s time we cared for less.
For those scars of life waiting for soothe in love.
Take me far above the realms of life, in the search of our zeal,
Wherein the time halts for a moment of love in conceal.
Fly to those flows of springs, a delusion in our chimera,
To those emeralds forest filled with birds in their chroma,
Let your halcyon smile dance in tune of susurrus romance,
Let your ecstasy play to the lilt of mellifluous song of life.
It's time we cherish our dreams in the veracity of reality
It's time we feel the magic, it’s time we touch the sky,

ILLUSION- THE HEART OF A WOMAN
The winter birds were an illusion of a mystical journey of the unknown,
Like a phoenix in passage of time, the cynosure in the eloquence of nature.
She had again waited for the arrival of the distant birds for the hopes she had,
The pulses of her conscious grew faster as they appeared as dots in the horizon.
They had flown from far, carrying the memories of the distant land,
The faded mist of the past and the flood of remembrance and its errand…..
The open meadows as she hopped in merry almost in embrace with the flow of nature,
The handmade garland with the fresh bloomed flowers for the statue of a stone bestowed being so pious
The worriless days, the tired nights, the silence in prayer and the wishes of a miracle,
She had yearned for all that she could wish under the shades of the tamarind tree.
Her dreams were simple always in dalliance for the hidden love, the soft touch of a caring heart,
The askance of a boon to ask for a piece of happiness, a measure of faith…
The reality of life however had its shades of grey, the phases of veiled agony
The vanity of a woman was scattered to assuagement of a diverse society
Oh, but her panacea of love had been shattered amidst the verity of ego,
Page | 102
And the sadness of feminine yearning was lost to the world of insolence
She sat down to gather her emotions in the form of words for a stanza of solidity
The words kept escaping to the reality, she whispered; let me bind you in form of my poem
Let you fly and let the wishes in camouflage be known to the world in the penumbra of its entity

THE MEASURE OF BEAUTY
The svelte stood before the mirror lost in the conscious of her beauty,
The delicate features of her soigne’ reverberated in enchantment of her image,
The angelic face had the luster of ebony; the eyes carried the suppressed rage,
Her delicate fingers had the slender of an artist, her aura the lure of magi.
He had come in silence soft on his steps, as if not to disturb her trance,
As she noticed him through her slated eyes, she asked in melody of her voice,
Tell me of my allure, has it stolen the peace of your mind in the passé’…..
He replied, indeed dear, the best of my endurance as I watch your reflections,
Had there been no limit of civility, I would have gone but insane.
Tell me oh Prince, am I the most beauteous female in the world..!
The Prince smiled and replied, Oh Princess, had I been in the spell of your beauty,
Beyond the realm of truth, I would have agreed,
But ask the child who clings to his mother for every support of life,
Ask the beloved brother as whom he adores the most but his sister,
There is the mad lover who would he adulate but than his grace in lover,
Oh my Princess, the meaning of beauty is but in the domain of heart in its fervor.
And the Princess embraced the Prince in a feel of joy as it was never before……!

A CRY FOR PEACE
No gun shots, no town shorts
Do we nest our birds
Or we consume them?
The nester rejects a price
To uncaging the birds into his stomach
As blood oozes,
Souls reduce,
I stand by the sky
To toll the bell for silence
Let these hearts of flowing sympathy
Tame the boiling water
Then,
We shall smile to see the gathering
Of the swords
For washing the hands purely
In the wisdom pot
Shall integrate disintegrated voices
We do not write with pens,
And reply with weapons
Let silence awake,
In this breeze of life
(A Broken Pot)
A spittle from a red tongue
Falls on a rock and dies
A throat is fading away
By a constant shout;
Pulling the intestines out
As he opens his jaws wide
Like a cock crow at five
These mere cracks
On the rough dying mud walls
Page | 106
In the forest's core
Seem to catch each high going call
At dawn,
The soft wrinkled palms of grandpa
Would pat his back and frown
All pester him for one reason
But,
What season feels his feelings?
For the tick-tock of the clock
Only evokes a sound of teasing
Then the masters of the top
Just enter and exit
With filled sacks of ear tingling lyrics
Of comfort breeze as promised
Yet,
His voice and dream
Keep swinging on pawpaw trees

HERE WE SIT
We are tomorrow's eye
Mama,
You would say with your voice high
But,
Could birds of the sky fly high
Without wings at their backs?
Yesterday,
You drained our tears with fainted hopes
But today,
We see through your eyes
That,
You’re just sealing your back
As good times you daily wish us
What have we done
To the hidden coffers in the sand of our land
Mama?
Here we sit, we're not sick
But these empty calabashes
We hold now
From morn till night
We drink back our tears and fears
We remember the swords and spears;
Above all
The bloodshed.
So will Papa be glad,
To see Kofi folds his arms behind the traffic
Whilst he,
Softly bounces in the four wheel drive?
O' Mama,
We sit under your warm arms
Listen to our cry
Page | 108
And tell Papa,
Tell Papa! Tell Papa!
We say, tell Papa.
For our eyes are swimming
In this rippling river on our cheeks

THE LIVES OF OTHERS
Beyond the dilemma
Of the mask
The eternal question
Asked:
Is it a virtue or a sin
To uncover the face
Behind the grin?
For even at the end
You hug your name
And what matters most
Is not how long you lived,
Won or lost tabloid fame
But how you touched
The lives of others
And how you let
Their lives touch yours.

BORDER TOWN
You say this land belongs to you.
I say it belongs to us.
Do roses bloom in your garden?
Only weeds grow in mine?
You murmur: “My blood is on this sand”.
Are there castles on my land?
The river flows from our eyes
Reddens with the sword of time.
Come, stretch your hand
I cannot understand
How you and I have become
Strangers in our land.

MAYBE
Maybe sitting in your cabin you'll smile at a memory
Open the portholes of your mind and say, ‘It’s destiny''
For the sea is still blue and the sky is filled with a melody
And the stars are still there after twilight kissed night quietly.
Maybe relaxing on a deck chair, you'll trace the flight of a dove
Reassure yourself that's the way things are and enough is enough
For the wind still whistles the same old stuff
And the sun still winks over the graveyards of love.
Maybe you'll hear the gulls cry out at their victory
See the fish disappear from the calmness of the sea
Maybe you'll play with the ring on your finger and be
A trifle unhappy, maybe, maybe, you still remember me.

SILENCE
Words disappoint
With their sparse foliage
Words
Wrapped in wild weeds
Words
Lost in the woodlands
Of evasiveness
Only this
Rose-like silence
This paradise
Shared side by side
Pricks but persists
Blooms with us
With the fragrance
And freshness
Of that first kiss.

The Martyrs
Who are lying in the cemetery
I can still hear their
Thundering voices – Fight, fight!
The Martyrs
Who are alive in every street
I watch their movement in
Bold strained luminous Light.
But I fear to receive
The guidance from their moral highs,
I feel shame to talk with them
By keeping eyes on their eyes.
My backbone is paralyzed by
My own manifesto of corrupt vice,
My principles are chopped by
Time’s slaughter house device.
Now we are slave by conscious chain
I believe that you all resurrect again.

CREAMATORIA SMOKE
In the dissection of Time - my Exhalation
Withers away with the flapping of crematoria smoke.
My fiancée- crazy, jubilant, nonplussed fiancée
Hands over my decapitated head to my rivals -
With an astonishing joy and satisfaction.
Alive I … Dead I… Yet I am Mesmerized in reading
García Márquez with the Cien años de soledad.

MOTHER EARTH NATURE
O, Mother
Who gave me birth
Fed me by your blood
Fed me by your breasts
Cradled me in your arms
Taught me stand on my feet
Taught me walking
By holding my arms and hands
Taught me love by fondling me
Taught me how to protect
Against changing weathers
You cried to see me in pain,
Tickled me to make me laugh
Taught me to respect father
Whom you loved to be my father.
Mother, you are not only mother
Who fed me putting morsels in my mouth
Who nursed me with nursing hands
You are like Mother Earth
Who roots trees deep to stand firm footed
And teaches to fight against storms.
You are mother earth and Nature
I salute you, O, my mother.
As Mother Earth, as Mother Nature.
As what I am today is all due to you.

PAIN
Pain plays very important role
To be humane to console
With experience in the vein
To hold the noble rein
Shows us how it is horrible
And asks us to be noble
Feelings to act it creates
Wires of goodness vibrates
Moves us for a cause
Waits for you, because
Demon of pain when crawls
It roles the stressful balls
Every trembling vein does say
Play what part we can play
To fight with might for cause
Down demon of because!!!!
Hey, apply Love as balm
To make the sufferings calm!!!!

CRIMINAL
Criminal are those
Who play with fires and fire arms
To kill or devastate.
Criminal are those
Who inject poison in the earth, the sky and creation
Who make life crawl in streets for a morsel of bread.
Criminal are those
Who molest and exploit kids without fear
Who pierce thorns with thorns
Who smile in division than addition.
More dangerous and criminal are those
Who see all these crimes happen
But remain silent!!!!

CHANGE OR BE READY TO BE CHANGED - ON LABOR DAY
Crawling in streets and tattered huts
Working day and night in fields and mines
Breaking stones and bricks for laying roads
Working in labs and research centers to create new
Working at lowest labor for survival after college hours
To meet their needs, to lessen the burden of their parents
To bring medicine and health care for the deceased
Those who have changed the face of the globe
Those who have taken you from earth to stars in sky
Are made to work under stress and strain of lay offs
Are made to work at the lowest level of living
Are beaten to death or thrown in jail for demanding human rights
Even kids are made to work as bound Labor Day and night
Exploited to sell their hands and flesh even.
These workers have brought change in science and technology
And those who taken full bread and butter, giving little crumbs
To those who have helped then amass profits at their cost
Depriving them of basic needs to feed themselves
Ask them to give them their share to live life of dignity
Or they have still enough blood to shed in streets as in Chicago

LIFE ANEW
I begin to live peacefully in the eternal bliss forever,
The day my eyes filled the tears of others;
I begin to sense a world of new meanings kiss forever,
The day my lips sing the songs of dreams for others.
Love filled the immense voids of life as I begin to share,
The dreams of my heart with others hand in hand;
The radiance of love in others' face makes me my desires bare,
Souls dance in divine ecstasy to the Moon and stars' band.
The fragrance of love fills the sky for untold desires to romance,
All the blossoms of faith bloom to sing the songs of love;
Mountains of passion thrilled as clouds of devotion dance,
Valleys of dreams overflow immersing parched hearts in love.

CRY OF DREAMS
Slaves of fate we become and all our hopes ravished again and again;
The seeds we sow turn helpless victims of heartless drought and rain.
Tender dreams to watch children grow in the homes of smiling prosperity,
Fade one after another by the ravages of seasons and loss of immunity.
Vicious cycles of power and betraying seasons inflict wounds on dreams;
In direct conflict stand we see- the dreams of life and faith in dreams.
Burden of loans to bloom the dreams shatters innocent life mercilessly;
Want of protection from the deadly blows of time bleed fields shamelessly.
The famished eyes of the poor and the parched heart of the earth are one;
The lords of the land in all hues always live well and clandestinely won.
Rise! O the sons of the soil in unity and defend the dignity of the pearls of toil.
Unitedly challenge and turn time to reap the golden harvest of the precious soil.
Mother and the mother like earth are always held high in reverence;
None take refuge in suicide nor be denied the fruits of perseverance.

I believe a world full of love, harmony and peace can be created with change in our attitude towards our fellowmen. As we change ourselves from within we begin to experience love, happiness and prosperity all around us.

MOTHER PRAYS
The heart yearns for love like the life longing rainbow dreams;
Eyes smile in thoughts of merry crowds and exuberance gleams.
Eyes turned stone by pangs of hunger and scantily clad body trembles;
Sleeping under the starlit sky as tears from eyes dream tumbles.
Heart ravished by delusion and lips cracked by withered hopes scream;
Bosom dried of love and bleeding hands of compassion helplessly scream.
In her fervent prayers seeking love, good health and prosperity for the suckling;
Blessing to embrace the pain destined and gifting her bliss to the suckling.
My love teach the child to be brave, peace loving and compassionate to all;
White milk of pure faith and red blood of sacrifice not be forgotten at all.

VENERATION OF LOVE
In the shrine of heart hymns of devotion my life chants to her;
She is all that is love can be and become;
A river flowing in the heart of scorching desert;
Sweetness of pure water quenching the thirsty soul the richest wines cannot satiate;
She is the blessings of divine nourishing and gifting life out of her;
She is the dawn of prayers and the gratitude of life itself at the dusk of life in the journey of soul;
She is you and she is me as well;
She is all the God wanted to be.
It is not her fault when we falter and embrace the vase and neglect the nectar within;
She is all beauty can be full of purity and sweetness;
Blossoms and thorns, stone and cross become the symbols of my veneration of love;
All the cruelties of the world can never stain the fragrance nor become the blasphemy of love.

THIS IS INDIA
Nature has lovingly adorned her with immense beauty;
Embracing all faiths as blossoms in the garland is her beauty.
Open to new thoughts and holding ancient culture in high esteem;
Mothers are worshipped and old age adoringly held in high esteem.
Lust can never corrupt love in hearts here for love is devotion;
Beauty is divine here and verses of love written with devotion.
Here one kind humanity and one divine God resides in all of us;
Here one dream of love and one faith in peace lives in all of us.
India verily the land of abundant faith and eternal wisdom;
The land of dreams to live and abundant love aptly humanity's kingdom.

ECHOES OF LOST SOUL
His lung wrote home
While his face wrote solitude.
Here was a soul, lost
Amongst boundless feathers
Falling off a lone bird's tail.
His eyes greyed the half-seated moon
And you could read
Memories holding themselves
To the feel of an aged-past.
The tackiness of history
Panting down his scored skin,
Sent peaceless pieces of pains
Which whispered through the exhaust
Of wooden vehicular fumes
That fast passed him in gossip.
Behind his reddish-dusty hairless head,
A chapter of his prayer wrote:
Do not circumcise me...
Do not break me...
Do not curse me...
For I hold within me
Uncured illnesses of a broken home.

ASEBU: A BROKEN PROMISE
We are reminded of what
Papa did
To merit the horns
Of this earth
Demise
We are told he was wrapped
By the fortunes
In the blades
Of a tribal
War
But here again
I see, his blood has not ceased
To write in the footprints
Of Amenfi
The gods are mute
So are the ancestors
They watch mortals
Blinded by whistles of inferno
Bulldoze every sacred story
Meshed to the tongue
Of the oak
We are reminded
Of what took Sabou away
Without even a grain
From Amenfiwaa's
Black pot
Page | 134
So why do you
Chase our minds
With chains
In the fist of
The palm?
That we
May pass into sudden
As did papa?

FOR A NAKED NATION ALONG AN IDLE GULF
We've travelled to this place again
This home
This nation
That lies between
Scratched patched faces
Of ruin
Long lines have sketched this nation
As clarion call that bubbles in many ears
Yet there are no drums to do the listening
The people's call:
A pleasant alleluia plot
Capsules of political coups
Chasing thousand dreams
Painting patriotic gimmicks
Into the horoscopes of plights
They've awoken from the abdomen side
Of their minds
Leaving their heads
In beds
The sun is raging
And birds are quietsome
To the tunes of madmen
Stirring blood of militia parade
That mocks nation's nudity
This nation
That lies along a dejected guinea
She is 59 and has no clothing
She baths in public
And the man atop tells the world:
Page | 136
Her nudity is a mirror that reflects
Progress for the people
And governance for all.
Celebrate
Celebration
Oh celebrant
In self-conceitedness
Celebrate
Celebration
Oh celebrant
In myopic national songs
Even to this day
As the sun melts children in torn uniforms
Packed in public attention parade
And sweat pours through envying pores
On malnourished skins of old patriots,
I do not blame this national nakedness celebration
It’s our Kwame I blame.
It’s our Osagyefo I blame.
Whose spirit watches idly with the ghost
Refusing to torment these tormentors
Who’ve left this nation's nakedness
Along an idle gulf of mockery

LOVE, DEATH: FRACTURED ILLUSIONS
This is the more reason
I don't believe in love
Death and demise
Seasonal Changes
Gravity and Motion
The Earth and the Sea.
So when you dream little dreams
Of feathers and fathers
Dying sooner than child birth
Of mothers taken on by merrying songs
In eternal break, pause
For thousands of years now
Love has echoed no essence
Has written no beauty
Except that
In exceptions
In traverse
In travels
We find lust and boundless desires
That can't equate the riddles
In 'asamando'
Or perhaps in the untarred roads to
'Owuokrom'.

TO ALL THE INNOCENT PEOPLE
Nightmare in midday's light
Another trial to kill the right
The right of living a peaceful life
Black and red smock dead
Repeated shameful ugly sight
Well your message sent
Now hear what I said:
I am not afraid
I am willing to die
For love and peace
It’s my kind of life
I love to live
Goodbye cruel world
I am just another
Innocent
Who paid the price

WISE MAN
Walking naked
In the street
Doesn’t mean
You haven't anything to hide
Or you just insane
But simply they
Took almost everything
You’ve been stolen
To the bone
No remains
Nothing left
For you outside...
So you decided
To send your message
In a way
Tell the whole world
That’s enough
You get tough
Day by day
So please
You don't think
I am crazy
Or I lost my mind
If you saw me
Walking naked
For some time

KILLING FUTURE
Hey you sniper
Keep your eyes on me
A little bit longer
My look freeze
On your rifle
Mistakenly. Do you believe
You can kill the future?
You are the past
And I am the future
And you won't last
You won't go further
I am your deadline
I'm coming on
Ride on freedom's horse
The sun will shine
On my hometown
And you disappeared
And I live longer
I live longer
Much much longer
The past has gone
I am all the FUTURE

ONE DAY WE WILL HAVE PEACE
There is only one mother in the universe
Who with loving care takes after us.
All men and women are children of her own
We all are brothers and sisters under the sun.
She wants us to live in peace and harmony
To avoid the unpleasant happenings.
All objects of nature are like teachers
We can learn many things to be sober.
Yet cheating, plundering and even killing going on
That spoil the peace of mind.
All want more and more
To make a heap of wealth.
It is nothing but stupidity
Because only money and power can't give us
Peace.
Happiness and peace lie in contentment
If we are satisfied with which we have.
Greed and voraciousness can't give us peace
If we are not free from all these.
Yet we are sanguine
The peace-destroyer will be dim.
All will stand in a platform and raise a slogan
That will say we one and only one.
The meanness will be removed totally
Only the peace will prevail completely.
Here we may quote a line from Keats 'If winter
Comes, can spring be far behind?

TO MY SWEET BOSOM
Do believe me, my sweet honey
I can't live without your company.
Please come sit on my lap
And hold me tightly tight.
Warm my lips
With your slow kiss.
Come so close bit by bit
To make my organs heat.
I want to mingle with you
And lose myself in you eternally.
I know in you there is endless seas of honey
That I want to drink with heart content.
Here I will swim
And play hide and seek.
This game will never end
Even though the whole civilisation comes to an
End.
We will remain the same
To make this world a peace of heaven.

BE LIKE THE SUN
The sun never sets
It always runs and runs.
Here is invisible
And there visible.
It is never tired and takes rest
Only to make the lighted.
It is an inanimate object of nature
Yet it obeys the rules forever.
We the best creation of God
With much intelligence and wisdom.
We know what is right and wrong
Yet we doesn't hesitate to harm.
We do injustice to us and others
That make the world harder.
We suffer and give others
That makes us endless sufferers.
It spoils the peace of mind
And increases the pain in all's mind.
If we do so continuously
Nobody will be happy.
If spread light like the sun
The whole world will be enlightened.
There will be no darkness in the world
All will be able to live in the flood of light.
No pain, no sorrow, no jealousy and hatred will
Prevail
Only the peace will live in us.
Let's be lamp and spread the peace of light
To make the world heaven- like

THE MOON
The moon is a symbol of peace and love
That makes the world happy and joyous.
It creates the feelings of friendship and love
And helps the lovers to come close one another.
The lovers walk hand in hand under the moon
Lose themselves among them.
The villagers enjoy gossiping
The grandfather and mother told stories to the
Grandsons and daughters.
The moon has no light of its own
Yet she is not miser.
She borrows light from the sun
And gives everything to the world.
Ha! Human beings, you have many things
Yet you like to have everything.
You want more and more
To make sky-high castle.
This creates greed, jealousy and hatred
These disturb the peace of the world.
Let's be generous and merciful
To make the world peaceful.

THE WORLD AWAITS A MIRACLE
Violence and terrorism
Blood and bombs
Killing and dying
Across the borders
Within the borders
In the names of
Religion and Rights
Politics and War
The hate and misery
Stain the world with blood
Worse than death is
The death of dreams and hopes
A nightmare right before the eyes
Enacted and en scripted by human less humans
Falling prey to brainwashers
The dead are abandoned
Beside their loved ones
They shiver and go pale
Watching them dying slow and suffering
Losing hope and unbelieving love
The affected humans live a life of death
The world awaits a miracle
That would enable love and compassion to reign the blood shed terrains
That would welcome differences and diversities
That would kill discrimination and inequality
A miracle that sees
Serene souls evolving from enlightenment
Sacred love that binds this universe in eternal peace
We are that miracle
In our understanding lies the strength of unity
Page | 149
In our perception lies the power of freedom
In our humanity lies the holiness of harmony
In our wisdom perish
The vulnerability of fears
We are the inviolable souls seeking justice and peace!!

LOVE
Love is the guiding force,
Which understands the language of hearts.
Sympathy and empathy are its helping hands.
Love drives one to do the unexpected.
Love is an innate feeling.
Even a baby identifies love and reacts
Love is the connecting force
Which even brings a stranger close.
Love is that balm,
Which cures all aches of heart.
Love is that emotion which not only connects other but the supreme as well.
Love is spiritual, eternal and transcendental.
It unites one and all.
Only one needs to find that love in the innermost core.

A PRAYER
Your creation is getting wild O’ Lord!
There is a need of peace and harmony in this world!
You yourself are the witness of every happening
And I am sure, you too want to see blessed everything!
I being your child am praying to you my Lord!
Give me a strength to create a bonding of love my God!
I could become someone’s inspiration
I could strengthen someone’s determination!
I could bring a word of smile for someone
I could take away pain for a while for someone!
Looking at me, someone could get a breath of relief
Sharing with me, someone could forget all the grief!
Whenever people search their own among strangers
I could be their one unforgettable well-wisher!
Give me those eyes, which could cherish joyful faces here
Give me those ears, which could listen songs of peace here!
Give me that tongue, which could sing rhymes of peace
Give me those hands, which could serve people in need!
This life, these breaths, you have blessed me my Lord!
I wish I could give someone this life my Lord!
O my Lord! Bestow your blessings on me
Keep your kindness and magnanimity on me!!!

LET US LIVE FOR OTHERS
You keep on writing about your loneliness
You are always finding faults within yourself
Count all the blessings that you possess
Why are you lost always in your sufferings you have?
Come out of your sorrows and mourns
Just look at the miseries all around
Sad faces and lonely hearts everywhere
But they don’t die, try to survive and cheer!
There are so many eyes those cannot see
Many an ear they are deaf, can’t hear
Disables those cannot walk and work
But still they try to put in their efforts!
Many even beg to fulfill their needs
Compare yourself with them once
How blessed are you dear friend
Live for them and feel relieved!
Fill those hearts with love and hope
Bring some shine to their faces
Paint some dreams in their eyes
Sing soothing songs for those ears!
This world has become miserable for everyone
The charities will cheer your heart O’ friend!
Let us make this earth a heaven
Forgetting all our sorrows and mourns!!!

Accept the trials of life,
Believe that life is not a heavy load,
Cheerfully checkup what you have owed
Decor declaiming to reach at God.
Each path has a special price
For better results fasten to sail on unreachable dream
Gaze constantly and garnish better choices
Hand over your everything to Him, you won't scream.
Intend to keep up with unspeakable secret
Justify and judge the unheard request,
Kindly pay attention to your dues
Learn the skills how to excuse.
Magnify your inner peace
Nurture the life smoothly to complete
Operate handsomely your bound duties
Possibly you will get rid of all difficulties.
Quest on how to mend irreplaceable loss
Rebuild to keep unkept promise
Surrender wholeheartedly to HIM
Trust on Him, surely you will arise.

Whisper His name & whiten your character

SLEEPING IN DREAMS
In the quiet night
Seeing the shining moon bright
In the starry sky
Ignition turning up to shy
A gentle cooling wind filled the air
Heart-touching rhyme floated on over there
With the magical beats from guitar
Feeling the guitar's warm
Heart and soul completely merged in divine charm.
Slipping into dream
At first glance
For uncontrolled fluttering emotions she began to dance.
Holding the passion
She kissed with full embrace
In her dreams she found herself on the flowery bed
Scooping up her head
She wanted nothing
Only a wish to be with her prince of charming.

SMILE PLEASE
Smile on a wrinkled face
Travels from one to other places
Giving away love prosperity and grace.
Bringing happiness over sadness
Singing the rhyme of soulful respect, the medicine of forgiveness.
Smile makes strong even in pain
Comforting to regain
As a sign of gentleness, unspoken.
Smile heals even you are sad
Smile persuades to leave plaintive and bad
Prevailing upon to be Godly mad
And calls after to be glad.
Smile keeps in with unification
Bringing everyone to lights,
Crowning with success
To be in one's good books and
Brings out moral satisfaction,
Leaping up with joy and gratification.
Smile, the universal language
That makes us amaze
And gazes,
Encourages to raise and praise
Through time's passage.
Smile is soft sweet and demanding
Smile, real rare dominating & exciting
The clarity of motion endless gathering
A source of divine feeling.

ENDANGERED PEACE
Fear in the air
Innocence cries
Subdued voice of humanity
With loads of burden
Burden of cruelty
Of umpteen colours
Of umpteen dimensions
The Satan’s roar
Around and everywhere
To engulf the mankind
To sunder our hearts
Into million pieces
To divide us into
Caste, creed and religions
For them it’s a path to salvation!
How can it be?
How can the messiah smile
At the merciless bloodshed?
How can he smile
Seeing his creation submerged
Under the ocean of suffering
Peace fades away under
Colours of cruelty
Lost in the inhumane war
For power and space.

ETERNAL TOGETHERNESS
We met as strangers
Of two cultures and two states
Mingled on the moonlight corridor
In a pursuit to unite our fates
On those long walks to destiny
Together we began to grow
On those endless chats of intimacy
We shared our glee and sorrow.
Captivated by myriad bondings
We nurtured our passion in silence
Days and nights ran amok
One started missing other’s presence
The arduous moments of life
Built thousands miles of separation
But together we firmly stood
Vanquishing the mountain of desperation.
Changing seasons changing colours
Changing fate and states.
Yet we are in eternal togetherness
Enduring time and dates

IT IS ALL ABOUT HEART
It is all about heart didn’t you know?
It isn't about power
Or struggle,
It is all about heart.
How we love,
Not how we hate,
Though the two are not opposites.
It is not about fear,
For fear is never from God.
Fear is the opposite of love.
I can be angry,
Yet still love you,
Didn’t you know?
I can't be afraid
And love you,
For fear does not leave room for love.
Terror is about fear,
Not hate,
Tho at time the seed is hate,
But the reality,
Is that it is all about fear.
Fear begets fear
And terror
And revenge.

This is not about others,
It is about YOU
And ME,
What goes on deep in our hearts?
Love will stop it,
Even tho there is great cost.

THE BLOOD
Blood, this is my breath
And to subsist is my right
Where can I look back
without shedding blood.
Every morning there was a touch
of trepidation and fear
Incessant turmoil
and war.
The blood congealed
in my veins and
flowing from my eyes
because my baby died in the war.
Your heart is not eroded
by the falling rain
And thick clouds
cover your hearts.
My blood and your blood
is not only red fluid
this is the reason
why we continue to live.

THE TRULY INDEPENDENT
A happy-go-lucky
Is not really free
But confined to the pleasures
And vices bound
Oh dear young man!
Unworried of future?
It is so very fierce!
You might fall into the abyss
And won't survive!
Advice of parents
Do not disobey

BETRAYAL OF FRIENDS
Friends are like crayons
But she did not need a cannon
To combat your bad intentions
She found diamonds in small folded tin
There are hankies tuned before her tears drip on the floor
There are ropes that sheltered her fall
Backstabbers lingers up to her strands of hair
They don't stop defamation
Unless she is not creeping in humiliation
Could not keep their mouth shut
Blind of her good deeds
Misdeed were sold
Her mind erupted
Prudence exploded
Took a deep breath then her temperance bomb!
Their hidden secrets farted
And their temper sprouted
Do you blame her
If her kindness did not reign
From your evil deeds?
She is kind yet she had claws.

UNIVERSAL LIGHT
Our lamps may be different
But the light is the same
Born may be in any religion
But our destination
Is the same.
God is light
And from that light
We are born
As the scripture says:
Let’s make man
In our own image
We are here
On a little pilgrimage.
A temporary sojourn
We all are here
With a purpose born.
Come O man!
From east and west
From north and south
Let’s dwell with peace,
Love and light.
On trivial issues
Of caste, colour and creed
Let’s not fight
Let’s not bleed.
Rise above the parochialism
Rise above the false religion
Rise above whatever binds us
And keeps us apart
From one another
Let’s never depart.

We are the drops
Of that Ocean Divine
Let’s live
On this earth together
With love sublime.
Our skins may differ
Our languages may vary
Yet we are one human
Family.
Woven from the same light
We are the children
Of One God
Who in all of us shines?
Let none fall a prey
To the selfish hands
Who are busy
With their evil bands.
Fallen from their nature pure
They have no cure
For committing crimes
Devouring the innocent
They leave them to bleed
The reason for all this
Is to satisfy their greed
Let’s all make an effort
To make our mother earth
A place
Where love, peace and light reign
A place for all
Without any personal claim.

BURNING IN YEARNING
Love is life
Sans love
It's death
As a body
Sans breath.
Your soul and mine
Are both divine
Pine for
Your love and
You for mine.
We are one
In bodies two
You woo
For me
And I
For you.
Love is
A gift divine.
A unifying force
To unite two souls
Yours and mine.
Burning in yearning
To have
A look
Of your
Enchanting face
With celestial grace
Like a fish
In hook
Longing for its
Life again
Page | 176
Craving for you
I love you
Why you
So far remain.
Come O love!
Let’s unite
To make one
Whole
Out of two
Souls.
Come and love me
Speak a word
Or not
We are two souls
In love's net
Caught.

THE JOURNEY BACK HOME
Made in the image of God
What we see is totally odd
Ego separates us from Him
We follow just our own whim.
The chasm between Him and us
Too deep too wide
We have lost our wings to ride
No dearth of prophets false
Beating about the bush
Us they chide
Teaching dogma not the Truth
The Truth that'll make us free
We have to dive within to bath
To find the forgotten Ancient Path
Only a burning candle
Lights the unlit
Only an Awakened awakens
The one in slumber
We can never be quenched
Until we peep
Within us deep
The Divine Wells of Nectar
Lying within us sleep
We look for help and peace
That lies within us all
We need to sweep clear
The dust away from our heart.
Then can we see Him
With the Single Eye
With His grace and
The touch Divine.

Following the sound
Of the trumpet call
And the roaring waters, and the thundering clouds in
The Spiritual dome
Walking back
To our Eternal Home.

THE PHOENIX
I have risen
Like a phoenix
From my ashes,
Many a times.
The ashes
Of my cherished dreams,
The ashes
Of my unfulfilled desires
Like a phoenix
I have risen
Many a times.
To live a life anew
With a better view
From ages
When I was a-none,
I have risen
Like a phoenix.
I am eternal with a soul
Not a part, but a whole
I played various roles
Like a phoenix, I have risen.
Forms matter not to me,
Though they seem to conspire
To blur my vision
With Maya's mire.
But I have risen
Many a times
Like a phoenix
From my ashes.

HUMANITY AT CROSSROADS
Humanist roaming in street,
Every day ends in a fight,
Saviours of humanity,
Clearing the insanity,
The insane mindset,
That divides the act,
Humanity at cross roads,
The basics elude the creeds,
Humanity today is so divided,
In a war torn world,
How do we narrow the gaps?
Between the poor & rich,
Life becomes a pawn before humanity,
Oh! God What kind of nuisance or insanity,
How to get over it?
Civilization boasts of its pride too much,
How to get over it?

DREAMS IN SEQUENCE
Vasudhaiva Kutumbankam,
One World one family,
If the world could breathe peace,
Narrow the human difference,
Alexander conquered the world,
Human dreams have always an end,
Life eternally walks in the universe,
Birth & Death two sides of the same coin in verse,
The verse of infinity,
Sings lyrics of humanity,
From stones & arrows of ancient,
To nuclear weaponry of the present ,
Allan Kuddys helplessly die,
The world of hegemonic pies,
Why not stop creating the war weapons,
Funds the world children for education,
Food for the deprived stomachs,
Charity must begin to stop the human ache,
Let no one practice feign,
Let nursery rhymes sing human,

ATTITUDE FOR HUMANITY
The have's lack of care attitude,
Divides the world's latitude,
The have not's live on pavement,
Life becomes burden of bereavement,
The invisible human pain,
Trampled under Mercedes of dreams in vein,
All are beggars of life,
Few relish while others struggle in strife,
God! Please guarantee free space,
Free food for the suffering innocence,
Narrow down the gaps & competition for more wealth,
Let the wealth be used for bread, butter & human health,
The skyscraper dreams stop for a moment,
Throw a look of compassion in foment,
The world must divide the wealth,
The poor must breathe life & health,
The high cost of existence,
Must breathe life for the struggling humanity with grace,

THE VALENTINE’S
The Valentine,
In quarantine,
Lovers romancing,
Parks embracing,
Before Lovers arrive,
Just Love holds the drive,
Warning for the valentine,
Do not miss the pantene,
Holding the symbol,
With love balloon's symbol,
To please other,
Play what not for the lover.
Dress like a heroine,
The Hero looks at none...
Love brimming happiness,
Love roaring with the Lioness,
The Leo comes roaring,
The Beloved is too caring,
Rolls her soft fingers,
Combing the feelings to sizzling excitement.
